Massive reactions as President Akufo-Addo to proceed on seven-day leave to France

The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, has sparked massive reactions on social media following his announcement of the President’s seven-day leave.

According to Eugene Arhin, the president will proceed on leave effective November 13 and will return on November 20.

He also said the president will be presiding over a debate at the French legislative chamber during his leave.

“The President will on Friday deliver a statement on the impact UNESCO has had in Ghana and what Ghana expects from UNESCO in the coming years,” Eugene Arhin disclosed.

Following his announcement, social media users as usual, reacted overly to this development.

It is surprising to see the majority of the comments instead of wishing the president well in his leave, rather chastise his government.

While some of the comments say the president should even go beyond seven days, others say his government, after all, has no positive impact economically therefore he should return not.
