‘De-damparization’: Isaac Owusu Bempah rearrested by police

The founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Isaac Owusu Bempah, has been re-arrested over fresh charges which are to be filed against him.

Owusu Bempah was re-arrested together with two others by name Bright Berchie and Mensah Ofori after an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Afia Owusua Appiah, handed them over today to cops.

The Prosecution team led by Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey requested that the court release Owusu Bempah and the two others as they wish to file new charges against them.

Owusu Bempah and the two others have been on trial for some months now after they were arrested for threatening Nana Agradaa with death.

The defendants, two weeks ago, were granted a Ghc 200,000.00 bail with two sureties.

Currently, the prosecution team intends to file new charges against the three.

They say the charges against the detost be separated in order to achieve an efficient and timely trial.
