A/R: Two people killed as a motorcycle collides with a truck.

Two people were killed when their motorcycle collided with a stationary tipper truck in Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region.

The driver was believed to have survived the collision but died subsequently, while his passenger perished instantly.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver, who was the only one wearing a helmet, slammed into the back of a truck with the registration number GN 2368-18 that was traveling in the same lane.

Yaw Asamoah, the driver of the tipper truck, told Adom News’ Isaac K Normanyo that the accident occurred immediately after he parked the car owing to a lack of gasoline while ascending the slope.

He claimed he had posted many caution signs along the road to warn oncoming motorists of the situation.His’mate,’ who he had tasked with directing traffic, also moved away for a moment, and the accident occurred.In the meantime, officers from the Adansi Fomena police command have arrived on the scene and are conducting investigations.

The bodies, which were extensively damaged, were taken to the Adeambra mortuary for preservation and examination.
