Newcastle United are clearly needing to make a strategy for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi. While the Frenchman continued on through a passionate but ultimately undesirable performance at the Emirates Stadium, the 22-year-old has reignited his livelihood.
On the back of appearing for Hertha Berlin, Guendouzi has since been exposed back in his country with Marseille, already contributing two destinations and three aides this season. Although the Ligue 1 club has made a purchase decision, Foot Mercato believes Newcastle will rush to sign the player in the coming summer.
The Magpies are proposing to make a couple of high-profile increases during the impending two trade windows, and Guendouzi has evidently been shortlisted by the new owners.
Eventually, the report adds that Guendouzi is happy with life at the Stade Velodrome, extending the chances of any opportunity to return to the Premier League being kept away from.
