Four players pointed to depart Manchester United in the January transfer window

Manchester United was one of the busiest Premier League clubs during the summer transfer season.
With the signings of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, the Old Trafford giants made a triple statement of purpose.

United are almost probably searching for ways to better their current condition.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – or whoever succeeds him as manager – may have to deal with a surplus before bringing anyone else through the door.

Four players are expected to leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window, according to SkyBet.

Newcastle (9/2) – Jesse Lingard
From the moment they were taken over, Newcastle was linked to players left, right, and center.

After a good loan spell with West Ham United last season, Jesse Lingard has battled to break into Manchester United’s starting lineup.
Many expected Lingard to continue his success at Old Trafford after his last-minute heroics against West Ham and goal against Newcastle, but he has been banished to the bench more often than not as those around him have been trusted with starts.

Anthony Martial – PSG (8/1)

Anthony Martial’s United career has been up and down, with the signings of Edinson Cavani, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Javier Hernandez pushing him down the pecking order in the last two seasons.
PSG’s Paul Pogba (9/1)
The prospects of Paul Pogba’s contract being extended are reducing by the day.
Beginning January 1st, Pogba will be able to negotiate with clubs all around Europe, and he is largely expected to return to Juventus or ultimately land his dream move to Real Madrid.

Juventus (5/1) — Donny van de Beek
Under Solskjaer, it hasn’t worked for Donny van de Beek yet.
When Van de Beek arrived from Ajax in 2020, after helping them reach the Champions League semi-finals in 2019, he was expected to bring skill and playmaking abilities to a United midfield that required creativity in the middle of the park.
