Antonio Rudiger has four replacements, with the Chelsea defender ‘determined’ to seek a move out of the club

The center-back for Chelsea is Antonio Rudiger is “desperate” to join Real Madrid during the summer transfer season, according to a Spanish rumor.

According to Express Sport, if Rudiger quits the Premier League giants, a list of four defenders has been named as Rudiger’s replacement.

Since Tuchel took over, Rudiger has been a revelation, and the defender will be vital as Chelsea attempts to follow up last season’s Champions League win with a domestic title campaign.

His brilliance, though, has piqued the interest of Europe’s elite teams, and with Rudiger in the final nine months of his contract, the Blues might lose him for free next summer.
Chelsea’s attempts to sign Jules Kounde were stymied this summer, with Sevilla holding strong on a £77 million release clause.

Jules Kounde

“In the end, Kounde stayed because the club decided it was the correct thing to do based on the evaluation of the offers they may have received,” Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla manager, told Diario de Sevilla.

Sule, Niklas

Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule was considered as a possible replacement for Kounde during the summer transfer window.

Maxence Lacroix

Maxence Lacroix is a French fashion designer.
Another defender connected with Chelsea in the summer was Maxence Lacroix, who guided Wolfsburg earn the Bundesliga’s second-best defensive record last season.

Torres, Paul

Despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, Paul Torres elected to stay at Villarreal this summer.
