LOST – A poem about distress

I find myself lost in the middle of “God knows where”

In the midddle of nowhere, I stand within the sands in a complete dry land

Hot air blows through my tangled hair and I thirst for a drink but all the rivers have turned to sand

I look behind me, I see no shadow and I realize that I am all alone with no one to help me

I close my eyes and give out a loud scream

I find myself lost in the middle of “God knows where”

In the midddle of nowhere I stand within dry flaky ice with high peaked mountains surrounding me

Cold chilly winds blow through my tangled hair

I yearn for warmth but I find none

As I search around me, I see neither a soul nor a shadow

I realize that I am all alone with nobody to run to

I close my eyes and scream out loud

I find myself lost in the middle of “God knows where”

In the midddle of nowhere I stand within moist leaves and wet green grasses with tall trees around me

I run to find shelter from the rain but I see none

I realise I am alone with no one to run to

I close my eyes and give out a loud scream

I am lost in the middle of “God knows where”

In the midddle of nowhere
