A bank worker has been arrested in connection with one of the gun-point robberies in the country. This was revealed by ACP Kwesi Ofori, Ghana police acting director general, public affairs directorate.
He revealed that a bank worker was arrested among those suspects on Friday, September 24, 2021.
This happened after some four daylight robberies in the country that resulted in injuries and some death. He added that meetings with banks are underway to put measures in place that would enhance security for bank clients and customers.
Meanwhile, a security analyst of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center, Prof. Kwesi Aning has advised banks to take steps to interrogate their staff over robberies involving them.
