The midfielder signed a new contract with Liverpool at their pre-season training camp in Evian on Tuesday, 3rd August
Fabinho told Liverpool fc, “I’m thrilled to have signed a new deal with the club.” “I’ve been optimistic about it since the beginning of the talk because it’s exactly what I desire to stay at this club and continue playing for the reds. Now that it’s official, I’m overjoyed.” I’ve been quite satisfied here for the past three seasons. I scholarly a lot from the board, the rest of the staff, and even the boys.
“We master things together, and I trust this is the best place for me to be among the clubs, the best place to continue growing and learning from the management and the boys. Hopefully, we will continue to make progress.”
Fabinho, a Brazil international who assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders has dubbed as the team’s ‘lighthouse,’ joined Liverpool from AS Monaco in the summer of 2018.
He established himself as a pillar of Jürgen Klopp’s vintage, record-breaking Liverpool side that won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and Premier League over two glorious seasons after a period of acclimatization.
During his first three seasons on Merseyside, the 27-year-old made 122 appearances and has now committed his future to the club.
“The managers and the team mates are ambitious to us for this because they know our capacity and quality,” he stated.
As I previously stated, I want to be the best for the team, and I want to be an important part of this team – not only as a player, but also as a leader. We will carry on to learn from the boys and the staff and extort ourselves to be the best I can be.” We know that with these players, we can compete at a high level in any competition.
We couldn’t win any trophy last season , so I believe everyone is eager to win more trophies, to win more things, and to keep our supporters happy. Hopefully, we will be successful.
