According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Football Italia, Milan is interested in signing Isco from Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old Andalusian is estimated to be available for around €20 million; his contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2022, and the club would prefer not to lose him on a free transfer.
According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon.
Isco is a good possibility for Inter after Hakan Alhanoglu’s free transfer to the Italian club, and Madrid wish to let him go before his contract expires in 2022.
Isco was left out of Luis Enrique’s La Roja squad for Euro 2020 this summer, and he didn’t play a single minute in La Liga last season, registering two assists but failing to score.
An exit appears to be the greatest option for all parties; Milan has a solid relationship with Real Madrid and its new coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who is a former Milan player.
In recent years, Milan and Madrid have had a good transfer relationship. From Real Madrid, players such as Brahim and Theo have joined the Italian club.
Milan has also expressed interest in Jovic, Odriozola, and Mariano in the past, so it appears that the two sides might finally come to an agreement if Milan is serious about Isco. Isco is only 29 years old, but his influence for Madrid has waned in recent seasons, to the point that he’s now expendable, and getting rid of his contract is one of the club’s summer objectives.
Other clubs, like as Sevilla, are interested in signing Isco, but it’s unclear whether they’ll be willing to pay the €20 million Real Madrid wants for his transfer.
It’s also worth noting that incoming coach Carlo Ancelotti may decide to maintain Isco because the midfielder is a good fit for him.
