PEMEM ORGANIZES TRAINER OF TRAINERS PROGRAM FOR HO AREA

The National umbrella of the Church of Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) holds Trainer of Trainers (TOT) program for the Ministry Leaders in Ho Area. This took off on Saturday 10th July, 2021 at PIWC, Ho.

Speaking on the topic “Let There Be Light” the Area Head, Aps, Dr. Dela Quampah outlined the various contrasts and symbolisms of light; thus light symbolizes knowledge, life righteousness among others.

He added that the Church is poised at moving the Ministry further forward for an onward match with the Ministry’s various activities.

In order to equip the Ministry in their activities, Aps. Dr. Dela Quampah said, the National PEMEM Executives have put up this TOT program to make the strategic plan down to earth, for a better understanding and adoption by the grassroots and other stakeholders of the Ministry for the realization of the 4year strategic plan.

Referencing Gen. 1:1-5 & 2 Cor. 4:6, he drew the contrast between light and darkness being life and death, righteousness and sin, knowledge and dumbness, goodness/faithfulness/truthfulness and wickedness.

This light is what he admonished all men to exhibit in their marriage, business and daily activities.

Eld. Dr. Ebenezer Asamoah Nyarkoh, the National Deputy Director said, “the purpose of the TOT is to share with all men the strategic vision of the Ministry in order for all to be agents that will propagate the vision in sharpening men to possess the nations”.

He presented the details of the 4 year Strategic plan of the Ministry which were captured under the following thematic growths; Spiritual, Physical, Social and Psychological Growth.  Men’s Corner, Ex-convicts Rehabilitation Programmes, Safety Day, Friends of PEMEM are among other interventions, he said are yet to be rolled out by the ministry.

Eld. Makafui Nyamadi, one of the facilitators of the program touched on the social & physical growth aspect of the 4year vision document.

Some activities that would encapsulate aspect of the Social growth , he said, includes engaging in model farming, animal rearing and other agricultural activities as well as model craft. These he encouraged the Ministry to embark on at the Local level. He further, advised the participants to tap into the spectrum of rich professional persons God has blessed the church with for this call.

Eld. Makafui Nyamadi together with Eld. Dr. Ebenezer Asamoah Nyarkoh commended Ho Area for cultivating their 10 acres of land and spearheading the formation of the keep-fit club and inauguration of the Faithful Giants.

Touching on the physical growth he admonished all locals to organize either local or community keep-fit clubs and other period health benefit exercises for the physical growth of the members. These growth, he said when much attention is given to in a strategic plan, could lead to an overall growth in the membership and diverse activities of the Ministry

Participants shared their thoughts on the projection and commended the National Executives for these set of dynamic interventions which has its members capacity building and skills development impact imbedded in each strategic growth.

Pastor Emmanuel Sackitey, led the intercessory prayers committing the vision document into the hands of God for a smooth implementation.

179 persons which included the Ministers, Area Executives, District Executives and other members of the Ministry were present for the TOT program
