Barcelona’s home kit, which will be worn by both the men’s and women’s teams next season, has been unveiled.
The kit is inspired by the club’s crest, with the design of the badge visible in the shading and Blaugrana colors on the shirt’s front, as Joan Laporta noted. The shorts feature a distinct color on each leg, while the socks have horizontal rings.
“I like the clothing a lot,” Laporta added. “I congratulate people at Nike who are responsible for creating a unique design every year, whether or not everyone likes it.”
The men’s squad featured Ansu Fati and Gerard Pique in promotional pictures for the shirt’s introduction, while the women’s squad, who are European champions, included Caroline Graham Hansen and Marta Torrejon.
The new garment is fashioned from repurposed plastic bottles.
