Tensions in Spain as Ghanaians storm streets to protest against Akuffo-Addo

Ghanaians in the diaspora have added their voice to the social media calls for the country to be fixed.

Hundreds of Ghanaians living in Spain today took to the streets of Valencia to register their displeasure with the poor governance their compatriots back home are engulfed in.

Chanting on the streets of Spain with their Ghana flags and placards with the inscription boldly written on them, fix the country.

The fix the country campaign began on twitter months ago after the introduction of taxes amidst the growing hardships among Ghanaians. While the Ghana Police Service was successful for the second time in preventing the movement from embarking on a peaceful protest, Ghanaians living abroad have taken over the campaign and call for urgent and pragmatic approach in solving the increasing problems faced by the country.

Many have said the government is in the process of fixing the country and so Ghanaians should exercise patience.
