Dating does not mean you can’t go out with other people – Mrs. Okyeame

The wife of a rap musician, Annica Nsiah-Apau, has declared that dating numerous individuals at the same time is not bad.

Annica explained to host Comfort Ocran on eTV Ghana’s Springboard Hangout that there are numerous stages that two people go through before they get into a relationship, and dating is one of them.

As a result, the terms “dating” and “relationship” are not interchangeable. She explained these stages in detail, adding that the first step is to like the person and have them like you back.

Dating, according to her, is the next step, and it is when two people get to know each other in order to see if they are ready to move on to the next level, which is being in a relationship.

“You can hang out with each other, go to parties, and so on, but it doesn’t rule out hanging out with other people because dating may happen to anyone.

When you’re dating, it’s fine to tell them you’re dating other people because dating doesn’t indicate you’re in a relationship; it simply means you’re hanging out,” she stated.

Annica continued, “Once they discover they like each other, they will go from dating to exclusively dating.”

According to her definition, dating exclusively occurs when both parties agree that they will only date each other and that their ability to date other people will come to an end.

From here, it advances to being in a relationship.

She stated that both sides should have had in-depth discussions about what they want to do at this stage.

She emphasized that being in a romantic relationship is a stage in which both parties devote their time, money, gifts, services, ideas, and emotions.

She went on to suggest that after this stage, there is wooing, then engagement, and finally marriage.
