Following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as manager of Juventus,
Barcelona player Miralem Pjanic is allegedly interested in returning to his previous club.Pjanic played for Allegri from 2016 to 2019,
during which time the Old Lady won six domestic trophies, and it is said that his desire to return to Juve is fueled by that success.
The 31-year-old has had a disappointing season at Barcelona,
appearing in only 19 La Liga games for Ronald Koeman’s side, with only six of those as a starter.
According to the Daily Mail, Pjanic regards Allegri as a father figure, and the Bosnia-Herzegovina international aspires to return to Turin this summer to conclude his Barcelona career.
Allegri is expected to revitalize Juve’s roster this summer after the club’s domestic title reign came to an end,
but Pjanic’s age of 31 may limit his chances of returning to the club.
During his first career with Juventus, Pjanic made 178 appearances for the club,
scoring 22 goals and assisting on 41 occasions.
