Despite reports linking him with a move to the Premier League, Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho has stated that he is happy “at the moment” at the Westfalenstadion.
Manchester United had been after the former Manchester City starlet all summer, but the Red Devils refused to pay a nine-figure fee, so he stayed in Germany.
United are expected to renew their interest in Sancho this summer, while Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with a move,
and Sancho has refused to rule out a future move away from Dortmund.
The 21-year-old, speaking to reporters, said:
“Is it true that I’m going to leave the club? My future is unknown to me.
At the moment, I’m very content in Dortmund. I adore the club, its supporters, and its players.
They were the ones who gave me my first job.”
Liverpool, on the other hand, could only afford to sign Sancho if Mohamed Salah leaves,
while United are reportedly prioritizing a move for Sancho’s teammate Jude Bellingham.
Sancho has 14 goals and 18 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions this season,
but Dortmund is fighting for a spot in the Champions League next season.
