Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, believes coach Zinedine Zidane will be in charge next season. On his return to the club, Zidane has continued where he left off, winning LaLiga Santander last season and putting Los Blancos in contention for a double this season.”I think he’ll be our coach next season,” Kroos joked when asked about Zidane’s future during their pre-Chelsea press conference. “He’s bound by a contract.”

When asked about Real Madrid’s opponents in the Champions League semifinal against Chelsea, the German recognized their intensity but denied being overly concerned about the trip to London.”They haven’t robbed me of any sleep,” Kroos said. “We know how good they are and how powerful they are.”I believe we are in good shape. We’ve brought back players who were absent for the first leg, but we’ve missed Rafa [Varane]. We’re all ready to run and fight until the very last second, but how we use the ball will be crucial.
