Donyell Malen of PSV Eindhoven has emerged as a frontrunner to join Liverpool
.According to Voetbal International, Barcelona and Juventus are both interested in signing Malen, but it is Liverpool who are in the lead to sign the Dutchman.
The £25 million forward spent time as a teenager at Arsenal before moving to Holland in 2017,
where he has been in sensational form this season, scoring 17 goals in 29 league appearances.
Malen is reportedly seen by Jurgen Klopp as a long-term replacement for Divock Origi,
who is expected to leave Anfield this summer after seven years.
Origi has only made six starts in all competitions for the Reds this season,
and his playing time has been cut short due to Diogo Jota’s immediate effects.
Malen will be available for £25 million, and as a 22-year-old, he would be an enticing prospect for whichever club is able to secure his services.
