Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he intends to leave the club this summer.
At the end of this season, Julian Nagelsmann will succeed Hansi Flick as manager.
After 13 years at the club, David Alaba is leaving, and Jerome Boateng’s illustrious career at the Allianz Arena is also coming to an end.
And Sky Deutschland reports that Lewandowski, 32, may be joining them, citing a deal with’several’ top clubs signed by his agent Pini Zahavi.
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all thought to be interested in signing a striker this summer.
It’s unclear if any of those parties have contacted Lewandowski’s agent.
However, with the striker’s contract set to expire at the end of the 2022-23 season,
Bayern will consider selling him within the next year or so if he does not sign a new deal.
