Yves Bissouma, a midfielder for Brighton, has responded to reports that Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing him.
Since joining the Seagulls from Lille, the Mali international has been a standout player,
and it would now make sense if bigger clubs come in for him in the next transfer window.
Bissouma will obviously fit in well at Liverpool right now, with the Reds having a tough season and key player Georginio Wijnaldum’s deal coming to an end.
According to the Telegraph, Bissouma has been linked as a potential replacement for Wijnaldum,
and Reds fans will undoubtedly welcome such a move.
The Express has also named the 24-year-old as a priority for Arsenal,
who have had a poor season and seem to be in need of more aggression and bite in the middle of the park.
Bissouma, on the other hand, is taking it all in stride,
telling the Argus that he’s only interested in Brighton and not the transfer rumours in the media.
“I don’t have anything to say about that because I’m currently in Brighton,” he said.
“I consider myself a Brighton player, so, as I previously said, the most important thing right now is to stay up.
