Cristiano Ronaldo is tempted by a return to Manchester United, according to reports in Italy. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 36-year-old Portuguese striker would be willing to reduce his current salary demands, and is considering moving on from Juventus a year before his contract expires in 2022.
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he would like to return to Old Trafford and with the 29-year-old under contract until 2o16 the prospect of Ronaldo finishing his career at Old Trafford looks a distinct possibility.
Ronaldo admitted that Manchester is still in his heart and that he envisages a return to England when speaking to the Telegraph
“I love Manchester,” he says. “Everyone knows that. Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day.”
The 29-year-old has only two years remaining on his contract and there has been speculation in the summer of 2013 that he could be set to return to Manchester.
The Portuguese international recently questioned Real Madrid’s transfer policy which has seen such influential players such as Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso leave.
