Reason Why Ashaiman MP is blaming Akufo-Addo for the Murdering of Ishmael by the two teenagers

Money rituals (Sakawa) is becoming another thorn in the flesh for our dearest country Ghana. These barbaric acts should be of the past and it’s high time we eradicated this new troubling and unwanted issue from the shores of the country and if possible the whole worldwide.

Ghanaians received a state of shock after the Ghana Police Service arrested two teenagers, Felix Nyarko and Frank Kini for the gruesome murder of Ishmael Abdallah, 10, for money rituals at Kasoa. Unfortunately for the two teenagers, they were apprehended by the police and were then arraigned before the Ofaakor District Magistrate Court where the case has been adjourned to 20th April 2021 as the police looks to conduct more investigations into the murder of Ishmael.

The two teenagers in a court interrogations noticed that they were influenced by a spiritualist on television who promised to make them billionaires if they are able to bring a whooping ¢5000 and some human body parts. They then resorted to kill Ishmael but were caught. But who should we blame here?

Majority of Ghanaians are blaming the media for exposing majority of Ghanaian youth to illegal ways of making money. Most of these illegal means of getting rich are advertised on so many television stations which seeks to lure jobless and money-minded Ghanaian youths into such acts and it’s high time we banned all those contents on the various media stations.

The parents have also failed in their core responsibility for the moral upbringing of their wards in their quest for personal reasons and the acquisition of wealth. We wouldn’t single the government out as it has also failed in its mandate of providing job opportunities and also in ensuring that sanity is restored back to our media channels.

Talking about the failure of the government in creating job opportunities, the legislator for Ashaiman, Mr Ernest Norgbey has blamed the President Nana Akufo-Addo for the ritual killing in Kasoa on joblessness in the country. According to him, the harsh economic conditions in Ghana under the Akufo-Addo administration has led to these unwanted development.

He further disclosed that the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo must ensure that sustainable jobs are created in the country to help ward off the youth from patronizing the services of juju men and other illegal means of making money. He then entreated all the stakeholders in the media to work hard in bringing sanity back to our television station.
