Energy Minister Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh has said the slices in power supply to certain pieces of the nation can’t be portrayed as dumsor.
He expressed that what’s going on right now can’t be portrayed as the circumstance that happened during the Mahama organization.
He said these while addressing the media during an assessment of one of the Ghana Grid Company, GRIDCo’s locales, on Tuesday April 6.
“We should all be honest in our correspondence. In 2016, they [NDC government] gave us periods when we were now and again.
“2016, the public authority of the day disclosed to us it was an age issue. This isn’t an age issue. This isn’t about fuel, so how might it be dumsor?
“Dumsor is arranged and a schedule is carried out,” he said.
He further asked Ghanaians to show restraint toward the designers as they leave on the support work which has brought about power slices to certain pieces of the country.
“Hold on for the workers for hire, so they finish on schedule, so we can appreciate the improvement we so want. We have frameworks where lights are flashing, voltages are low and the line is down and that is actually why we have what we have”.
