Akufo-Addo and spouse take COVID-19 vaccine [Photos]

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has taken his first inoculation against COVID-19.

He got the hit at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Monday, March 1, 2021, along with his significant other, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo prior to taking his poke said, “I chose to take it [the vaccine] freely to clear all questions and urge everybody to likewise acknowledge the vaccine.”

“Express that this vaccine is protected by being the first to have it. So everyone in Ghana should feel great about taking the vaccine. It is significant that everyone toward the day’s end is inoculated. That is our evenhanded,” he added.

He said thanks to the COVAX Facility for giving Ghana 600,000 dosages of the vaccine.

President Akufo-Addo further asked Ghanaians not to allow their watchmen to down in the battle against the virus.

“The wide range of various conventions stay set up until we are fulfilled that the virus at last vanishes from Ghana,” he added.
