Koku Anyidoho Laments Over How He Is Being Treated By The NDC

Mr. Samuel Koku Anyidoho, Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in an interview with Okay FM reveals that while some members of the NDC are at liberty to have members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as companions without being chastised, he is being chastised vehemently by his party and tagged as a traitor for keeping friends in the NPP.

Mr. Koku refers to the contempt incident of Dr. Dominic Ayine, former Attorney-General, at the Supreme Court and commends the beauty of him having NPP supporters to solidarize with him during his purging as ordered by the court.

“My brother Dominic Ayine yesterday didn’t mention any NDC lawyers name to thank him. He kept on mentioning Frank Davies and only God knows the extent to which Frank Davies helped him. Whatever trouble he was heading into, it was Frank Davies who is an NPP person that rescued him. But as for Koku Anyidoho, his case is different, why is it so.

It is okay for people to have friends and allies in the NPP but if Koku Anyidoho and Gabby Otchere-Darko support Arsenal they say he is a traitor, even if President Akufo-Addo is doing something good and I praise him it becomes a problem,” he laments.

Mr. Anyidoho discloses that his way of politics is “tact and finesse” which does not please his party but he holds the belief that it is the best way of politics as a politician because it neither encourages insults nor breeds enmity.

Meanwhile, the former General Secretary has been suspended by the NDC following a petition presented by certain members of the party calling on the party to take action against him over his behavior which they think, violates the party’s constitution.

However, Mr. Koku still denies he has not received any suspension letter.
