Following Oppong Nkrumah, Information Minister-designate’s vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament, he has received numerous verbal attacks from Kevin Taylor as the latter called the former a liar and called on the committee not to approve him as a minister as a punishment for raining insults upon Former President John Dramani Mahama.
According to Taylor, Oppong Nkrumah had dragged Mahama’s reputation to the mud as he accused him of contributing to the collapse of Unibank.
He further alleged that Kojo Oppong Nkrumah borrowed money from Unibank and Unicredit to sustain his financial institution, Oval Microfinance which was on the verge of collapsing but he was pointing hands at Mahama for being the cause.
“What pains me was that he destroyed former President, John Dramani Mahama in the public domain without evidence.
He is a criminal and he must be in jail for chastising John Mahama and others. The vetting committee must stop him because he’s telling Ghanaians that he cannot be a good information minister to the country.
I do not know what really has changed this man, he was good some years ago, although power can change you but why should you collapse peoples’ business and taint the image and credibility of others without evidence,” Kevin Taylor said in a live video.
