The previous appointee General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Samuel Koku Anyidoho has offered some knowledge into his stressed relationship with Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the party.
Koku Anyidoho in a post via social media credited the breakdown in relationship between him and ‘General Mosquito’ to betrayal with respect to the last mentioned.
He said that despite the supposed betrayal he actually has a lot of regard for Asiedu Nketia. On the matter of betrayal, Koku Anyidoho said he has left everything to God to deal Asiedu Nketia.
“Pls; this isn’t Asiedu Nketiah: I keep on regarding him as my previous chief yet he is the person who double-crossed me: and God SHALL rebuff him”, he presented in response on a photograph which has a unidentifiable man and late President Jerry John Rawlings with the subtitle: “Rawlings finds Asiedu Nketia at Seikwa, 1985.
The relationship between the main figures of the NDC turned peevish when Koku Anyidoho chose to challenge Asiedu Nketia for the General Secretary post.
Unverified reports show that the two men had arrived at a noble man’s understanding that Asiedu Nketia was not going to represent the political decision.
He, however, had a change of mind, contested and won by a landslide.
While Anyidoho considers Asiedu Nketia to be a ‘deceiver’, the NDC scribe believes him to be a son.
