2020 PRESEC NSMQ stars now engineering students at Ashesi

Two former students of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) and winners of the 2020 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) are currently studying engineering at Ashesi University.

Ashesi university students, Isaac Gyamfi ’24 and Daniel Gakpetor ’24 led the Accra-based Boys school to record its sixth NSMQ trophy in 2020.

Isaac, who earned the nickname the “Black Panther” in his days the Presbyterian Boys High School said his Ashesi education will prepare him for another lifelong goal: to inspire more young people in Ghana to become Engineers.

The private university in a blog post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh said the Presbyterian Boys High School is the most represented in the Class of 2024, serving as the alma mater of 7 per cent of the class.
