Representative for the legal team of the second respondent in the election petition, has said the hearing of today has expressed inconsistent allegations made by the Petitioner, John Dramani Mahama and the observer, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
Speaking to the media after the hearing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah noticed that John Dramani Mahama and Johnson Asiedu Nketia tried to dishonor the “great job” of Jean Mensa with dishonesty and bias explanations and expressions.
He refered to the cases as the explanation lead counsel for the second respondent, Akoto Ampaw, took some time in the interrogation.
“We are of the view it’s been very good day in court that today the big word is exposed
“You’d notice that counsel on our side invested a lot of time exposing the inconsistencies and here and there, even by and large misrepresentations that have been put out by the Petitioner and the observer who was in the observer box today,” he said.
He further added that,” when you compare the previous instance of we won, presently to what they are saying in the observer box, about they don’t have a clue who won, when you compare that to a portion of the tapes we messed around cases of 51% of their side now, to claims that they didn’t in any event, bring numbers to court,
“In the event that you compare that between their request that discussions about vote pardon of a certain answer and now guarantee that it’s just examples of that number, one of the primary things that go to our side was to uncover a portion of the inconsistencies and misrepresentations that have been sold by the Petitioner and the observer.”
The case has been adjourned to Tuesday, February 2, 2021 where the second observer of the petitioner will proceed in the observer box for interrogation.
