The Ministry of Health has decided that all public COVID-19 laboratories offering walk-in services should only charge travelers.
According to a statement from the ministry, anyone can walk in and test for COVID-19 for free at public health facilities when that person is contact traced or feels ill and also suspects they have COVID-19 related symptoms.
The statement also indicated that travelers are, however, required to pay when they go in for COVID-19 testing in such facilities.https://e27aa4da6c4b8d4be510dc9e04578c7d.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-37/html/container.html?n=0

We have however sighted a document of some health facilities in some regions that are doing the testing for free.
They are the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research, National public health reference laboratory, Veterinary Services Department at Labone and Takoradi, MDS Lancet laboratory.
The laboratories captured in the photo below are not the only ones to conduct the COVID-19 testing.https://d-21386782703535097586.ampproject.net/2101211748002/frame.html
