Some nurses have come out to say that they’ve worked very hard for long but their payment normally delays and the government too has refused to pay them on time and keeps on delaying their payment which has caused them to be broke.
Some were even saying that, as a result of poverty, they have stuck to prostitution and use that as a means to get money to fend for themselves and their families. They are therefore crying unto the government to help them.
With this, some Ghanaians are saying that is true their payments are delayed but is not good that they indulge in prostitution since it can also harm them, rather they can find various means to get money other than the prostitution.
Others too are saying that the government should listen to their plea and help them because the nurses contribute much in the country and if they are not paid and they go on strike, it will really affect the country so the government should pay heed to their cry and pay them on time.
