Two guys belonging to Stonebwoy’s Bhimnation camp have been apprehended by police for allegedly assaulting a driver after they were involved in an accident on Saturday evening on the Bibiani-Abuakwa road.
The Abuakwa Divisional Police Commander, Chief Supt. Yaw Obeng Aubonteng said the collected information reveals that Stonebwoy and his team were traveling from a performance at Bibiani in the Western North region to Kumasi when one of their cars got crashed in the accident.
The police revealed that two of Stonebwoy’s team members then decided to grab one of the drivers involved in the accident and subjected him to beatings.
“According to the information we had the vehicle which collided with the sprinter bus didn’t even stop. The driver sped on and another vehicle which was following, two guys from that car accosted the driver that had the accident with that of the musician.
They beat him up and held him hostage, in their car and they were sending him to either Kumasi or Accra,” he revealed.
Chief Sup. Yaw Obeng told Citi News that the police after being informed had to chase them and finally arrested them at Abuakwa. The two guys after being detained for an hour are now in the custody of the Bibiani Police as investigations commence.
