Akufo Addo Is Not Happy With What NDC Has Planned To Do On 7th January.

The 2020 elections has brought a serious misunderstanding between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Electoral Commission of Ghana, but the New Patriotic (NPP) Party suffers the consequences thereafter.

After the declaration of the president elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the NDC has shown their displeasure in the outcome of the elections and have furthered it the supreme court for the right thing to be done. Though their petition wasn’t to turn the verdict declared by the electoral commission chairperson Mrs. Jean Mensah, rather to go for runoff because they claimed no candidate had 50% plus 1 vote in the 2020 elections. On that day, the NDC has intend to absent themselves from this major national ceremony. And not only that also, to disregard the ceremony as null and void, because they claim Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is not the choice of the majority voters in the recent elections, and he is considered as a president as a result of rigged figures by the electoral commission.

According to the minority leader of the 7th Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu the NDC has the majority in the incoming Parliament so if they boycott any event Ghanaians must treat it very serious
