Rawlings’s death: Stay off funeral – Nana Konadu’s NDP warns NDC

The National Democratic Party (NDP) has cautioned the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama to quit exploiting the demise of previous President and organizer of the NDC Jerry John Rawlings.

They blamed Mahama for just grieving Rawlings to make political increases in front of the impending races.

Secretary-General of the NDP, Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong at a question and answer session today, Monday, November 23, 2020, encouraged Ghanaians not to succumb to such political stunt and that the NDC is misusing the passing of the spouse of NDP flagbearer, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings to resurrect the NDC’s “dead mission”.

“With what he did with the destruction of previous President Mills, he ought not be permitted to do likewise with the demise of our cherished, previous president Rawlings. Furthermore, Ghanaians ought not oblige to that. The lip service of the NDC when Jerry John Rawlings was alive, [was such that] John Mahama urgently needed to quietness him and since Rawlings is no more, Mahama thinks that its convenient to use his passing to arouse uphold for his powerless base inside the NDC majority and the nation everywhere to rescue his 2020 mission which is going no place.”
