As the last international break matches of 2020 were played few days ago, it meant only one thing. Club football returned once again and the excitement was huge as usual. The UEFA games in UCL and UEL also return from Tuesday to Thursday and the excitement continues. Let us take a deep insight analysis into some selected teams as we move into the second half of the group stages matches in Matchday 4.
BAYERN MUNICH: Bayern Munich take on RB Salzburg at the Allianz arena. Bayern Munich now has 9 points out of a possible nine meaning they have a 100% record in the UCL. The last time they lost or drew a match in the UCL was in 2019 K/O stages against Liverpool where they lost by 3 goals to 1. They will qualify with a win against Salzburg and they will be expecting to win this match. Lewandowski will be looking forward to add to his 2 UCL goals and all eyes will be on Szobozslai who was named in top ten young players in the world.
REAL MADRID: The busiest elite club in the world in the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid will be looking for a win against Inter Milan in the UCL as the two go head to head on Tuesday. Real Madrid sits 3rd in their group with 4 out of a possible and a win against Inter Milan will increase their chances of qualifying to the knockouts stages, A loss or a draw will put them in hot fire because they can easily be relegated to the UEFA Europa League. Hazard could prove to be a key figure in this match whilst Lukaku will be looking forward to keep Inter’s chances of qualifying.
MANCHESTER UNITED: After bottling their chance of a qualification with a win tomorrow against Istanbul Basakehir after a 2-1 loss to the Turkey side at Istanbul, Manchester United would be looking forward to only increase their chances of qualifying with a win against Istanbul at Old Trafford. Pogba will be looking to shut haters up should he feature whilst Rafael would be looking forward to put up an outstanding display against his former team once again.
CHELSEA: Yet to concede a goal, Chelsea are in red hot form in the UCL. A win against Rennes could secure a qualification if Sevilla also beats Krasnodar. Both teams could qualify with even a draw. Ziyech could prove to be a key figure in this fixture whilst Camavinga of Rennes would like to prove a point why he was named 5th best young player in the world.
BARCELONA, LIVERPOOL AND MANCHESTER CITY: Everyone might be wondering why I included Manchester City because they are not a big club . They do have 9 points just like the other 3 elite clubs and a win against they teams they are coming up against could actually secure a knockout phase qualification for these three teams.
ATLETICO DE MADRID: Not the start they expected but all hopes are not lost yet as they can secure a qualification with 2 wins out of their remaining matches provided Bayern Munich beats RB Salzburg on Wednesday, They go up against Locomotiv Moscow of Russia.
