3 Policemen arrested for stealing mobile phones

3 Policemen have been arrested with one other person who is yet to be revealed for allegedly stealing 20 mobile phones and a Laptop valued at 60,000 Ghana cedis and 8,000 Ghana cedis respectively.

According to the Ghana Police Service, a complainant informed the Police that his shop in Ahinsan a suburb of Kumasi was raided where 20 mobile phone comprising of different brands valued at 60,000 Ghana Cedis was stolen and a HP Laptop also valued at 8,000 Ghana cedis was also stolen.

The Police after receiving the call, visited the crime scene. Upon the intelligence of the Police, Mr. Losoya Bayor who is a suspect, was nabbed by the Police at his residence at Moshie Zongo. After a search was conducted at his residence, (3) three mobile phones and (3) three tablet phones believed to be part of the stolen items were retrieved by the Police.

During investigation, Mr. Losoya Bayor announced that, he stole the items and he was returning home when the Police meet him on the way.
