The GPL has kicked off with quite a number of exciting games and quite a number of surprises as well . Already in its second week, the GPL has showed a lot in terms of good football and evrything that comes with the sports .

Well , in-terms of surprises comes a team from the Bono East region which are making waves with just weeks into the league . This team is non other than Techiman Eleven Wonderers .

A team led by a young agile coach , Ignatius Osei-Fosu have managed to convey the attention of local football lovers and the media during week one of the ongoing GPL . They played their first game in the country’s capital facing Kumasi Asante Kotoko and they showed a lot of promise . Althogh the game ended in a one all score , they ended the game on a very high note .

They were scheduled to face Cape Coast Abusua Dwarfs in Techiman and prior to this game , there heve been a lot of talks from coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu labelling their home grounds as a “slaughter house” this season and dropping points at home is simply impossible .

Well , the match came off today and trust me when I say it was a must watch with its drama , good football and excitement . The team from the Bono East region kept their word and completely slaughtered the Cape Coast side with two unanswered goals.

During the post match interview the coach expressed how happy and impressed he was with the performance of his side and went on to declare his side as league title contenders and that , other clubs should be on a prior notice before they step foot into their suppossed slaughter house .

Byfar , coach Ignatius is grandually paving a path for himself as one of the young promising coaches in this country and we look forward to see more from him and his side . The stakes are high for coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu and we hope he lives up to the hype.
