Kotoko has had somewhat of a tag of war with the Ghana Football Association for a while now and it looks lik the recent shot at GFA from the Kumasi based club has kept them mute .

This whole issue started when Asante Kotoko were restricted from filming their matches by the GFA . The club signed a deal with German sports science corperate group , Instat technology to film the clubs matches and read and keep database of the players which the GFA president Kurt Okraku initially approved personally .But it seems he has changed his mind over the course of time .

The GFA claim its reason for restricting the Kumasi based club is due to the fact that they signed the league’s telecast broadcasting rights to Startimes and therefore , anything with regards to filming the league generally belongs to Startimes and this restricts any club or any other media house from filming league matches .

Well , Kumasi Asante Kotoko have thrown their weight around trying to challenge the Ghana Football Association and it seems to be working . Kotoko have realeased an eleven paragraph statement lambasting the GFA and calling them out with all sought of names describing the GFA as outdated and a whole lot.

Till date , Kurt Okraku and his men have been silent and have failed to respond to the pride of Asanteman.

We hope Kotoko wins this battle . Stay tuned as we dig deep for more insights to feed you . thank you.
