He was arrested in the studios of Hello FM in Kumasi on Friday. In a report on Peace FM’s evening news on Friday, Nyamekye disclosed that the arrest and remand sentence was in connection with a bench warrant issued by the magistrate court.

The Asokore Magistrate Court is reported to have issued a bench warrant for Fordjour about six months ago after Dr UN flouted a bail.

According to the Nyamekye, Dr UN organised an awards scheme at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi in 2018.
