Ever since the deadly pandemic hit the shores of Ghana,the country has been in a lot mess. Ban was placed on public activities and Churches. Entry to Accra,Kumasi,Tema was also banned.
To curb the deadly pandemic, the president took the bold decision of placing a ban on schools. Fortunately, the president eased the restrictions by allowing the Final year students at the basic,secondary and tertiary level to complete their final examinations.
Students especially those who wrote last year’s wassce and this years wassce were confused as at when they will be going to the university.
The president in his latest public address asserted that Shs2 and JHS 2 students are to reopen this October and further stated that all other academic activities have been rescheduled to January 2021.
However the good news is that,the management of the University of Cape Coast have released a revised timetable for the 2020/2021 academic year.
In the calendar, it is stated that freshers are to open on Saturday 14th November 2020. However lectures are to begin on Monday November 23 2020.
