With the Premier League set to kick off once more this weekend, it’s time to turn our attention to the newest set of away kits.

After yesterday’s look at the best of the 2020-21 Premier League home kits, today we will be following up by having a look at those dedicated to the passionate away supporters.

Away kits tend to feature more daring designs and colours, as manufacturers are usually not bound by club tradition and history, giving them leeway to experiment with designs.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-1883810847636355&output=html&h=250&slotname=6310719999&adk=2377790269&adf=793296022&w=300&fwrn=7&lmt=1599845568&psa=1&guci=2.2.0.0.2.2.0.0&format=300×250&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780%3Fac%3D3g%26app_version%3D7.6.2254.150878%26client%3Dnews%26country%3Dgh%26features%3D137438953229%26lang%3Den%26language%3Den%26low_perf%3Dfalse%26mode%3Dbody%26picture_less%3Ddisabled%26swdp%3D360%26uid%3D3b398af63b954a4c59b859f656622f2008255498&flash=0&wgl=1&dt=1599845568218&bpp=53&bdt=11176&idt=423&shv=r20200901&cbv=r20190131&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D824549ca799b9028%3AT%3D1599844580%3AS%3DALNI_MagGD6Cc_9vGhEo_KW83kR45R0tfg&prev_fmts=0x0&nras=1&correlator=6876613026637&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=296799663.1599844578&ga_sid=1599845569&ga_hid=1583926035&ga_fc=0&iag=0&icsg=570566911&dssz=17&mdo=0&mso=0&u_tz=0&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&u_nplug=0&u_nmime=0&adx=30&ady=865&biw=360&bih=627&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=21066898%2C21067034%2C21066973&oid=3&pvsid=3600993668094909&pem=378&rx=0&eae=0&fc=1920&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C627%2C360%2C627&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CoeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=8192&bc=31&ifi=1&uci=a!1&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=6Qv03M7PZf&p=https%3A//stories.6chcdn.feednews.com&dtd=594

5th Place. Sheffield United

The winner of the best home Premier League kit does an excellent job with the away offering too.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-0&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1292736485913919488&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnews-af.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780&theme=light&widgetsVersion=219d021%3A1598982042171&width=550px

The pink shirt stands out from other away kits across the league this season, and the black accents provided by the signature Adidas stripes as well as the edge of the sleeve really stand out.https://res-odx.op-mobile.opera.com/pagead?w=0&h=0&pk=s3480327769472&ct=&uc=true&cc=US&lc=en&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780%3Fac%3D3g%26app_version%3D7.6.2254.150878%26client%3Dnews%26country%3Dgh%26features%3D137438953229%26lang%3Den%26language%3Den%26low_perf%3Dfalse%26mode%3Dbody%26picture_less%3Ddisabled%26swdp%3D360%26uid%3D3b398af63b954a4c59b859f656622f2008255498&rf=&cst=UTF-8&title=VGhlIFRvcCA1IFByZW1pZXIgTGVhZ3VlIEF3YXkgS2l0cyBmb3IgdGhlIDIwMjAtMjEgU2Vhc29uIC0gT3BlcmEgTmV3cyBPZmZpY2lhbA%3D%3D&vr=stories.6chcdn.feednews.com&bl=en-US&sh=800&sw=360&sch=5138&scw=360&scl=0&sct=0&tz=GMT%2B0000&vph=627&vpw=360&debug=false

It’s an excellent colour combination on a simple, yet effective design.

4th Place. Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs make another appearance courtesy of their wonderful new bottle-green away kit.

Another piece that works well due to the wonderful colour choice and simplicity of the design itself.

Unlike their home kit, there is no detailed underlying pattern, but that helps stop this away kit from being too busy.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-1&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1288742373732896768&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnews-af.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780&theme=light&widgetsVersion=219d021%3A1598982042171&width=550px

The two-tone collar and sides are excellent touches that bring a little more pop to the kit, making it one of the better Premier League away offerings.https://www.youtube.com/embed/-Y28OtwruG0

3rd Place. Burnley

Burnley’s offering to the Premier League away kit selection this year is a beautifully simple black kit.

I am an absolute sucker for a sleek, black kit, so while this does not have much in the way of innovative or standout design, it just looks good.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-2&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1304374315064885248&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnews-af.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780&theme=light&widgetsVersion=219d021%3A1598982042171&width=550px

It is hard to go wrong with an all-black getup, particularly when it makes the Burnley club badge and its primary colours stand out that much more.https://www.youtube.com/embed/B2fNvpKpBzY

2nd Place. Aston Villa

Villa’s away kit for 2020-21 is pretty much the next step up from the Burnley kit. It takes the simple elements of the Burnley offering and builds on them.

The kit manufacturer, sponsor and collar all stand out in blue, while the pinstripes feature the claret from the body of the home kit.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-3&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1296822202625662977&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnews-af.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780&theme=light&widgetsVersion=219d021%3A1598982042171&width=550px

It ties everything together with the badge and showing how a little bit of thought can really boost the appeal of a kit.https://www.youtube.com/embed/OdrMk2YB4kE

1st Place. Leicester City

Of all the Premier League away kits released this summer, no one can match Leicester’s wonderful maroon kit.

If anything, this kit makes you wonder how more teams have not opted for a burgundy change-strip.https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-4&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1298601967829356547&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fnews-af.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2F0f554ec88e9dafef54508c0e0eee2780&theme=light&widgetsVersion=219d021%3A1598982042171&width=550px

The white club badge, sponsor logo and sides blend in well with the rest of the top, and regardless of how their return to European competition goes, Leicester will be one of the best dressed sides to grace the continental stage.
