CEO of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho has depicted as fanciful the conviction by numerous Ghanaians that he halted then Vice President John Dramani Mahama from heading off to the workplace of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
As indicated by the previous Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, he was unable to have prevented the Vice President from seeing President Atta Mills on the grounds that there was a committed passage between the Vice President and the President at the Castle which permits just the Vice to utilize.
Talking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show, Koku Anyidoho said that he never strolled on that devoted passageway he left the Castle, making it difficult to prevent the Vice President from seeing the late President Atta Mills.
“The reality of the situation is that there was a devoted hall between the Vice President and the President. I never strolled on that committed hall I left the Castle since it was a devoted hallway for just the Vice President and the President,” he said.
As per him his office as Presidential Aide was first floor, in this way, he needed to climb higher up and experience conventions before he sees the President.
“My office is ground floor and in the event that I will take a quick trip and see the President, I would need to climb the steps and experience convention before I see the President; I can’t simply get up to see the President in his office. The degree of order at the Presidency, it is difficult”
“In this way, who am I that the Vice President is going to see the President and I will keep him from going. I possibly go to President Mills’ room after work in the event that I happen to be in his residency, I can go to his room to have chatter with him like dad and child; that is valid however in the workplace, there were structures. In the workplace, I was just a Presidential Aide; you have the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the President, Director of State Protocols, obviously you have the Vice President, Presidential Advisors, and me, I was just a courier,” he clarified.
He kept up that he like some other Presidential Staffer followed the set down conventions; demonstrating that it arrived at a point that they were not permitted to take their telephones to the President’s office.
“There are various occasions that I would be with the President and if the Vice President comes there, I would be approached to go out and I would just return after they are done; that was the degree of order thus how might I have perhaps impeded the Vice President,” he included.
He included that despite the fact that he had a cozy relationship with the late President Atta Mills as his nearby Aide, Speech Writer, Spokesperson and a Confidant, he didn’t keep the President’s journal; in this manner, the President’s journal was kept by the Secretary to the President and the Director of State Protocol as he just contributions to the journal, showing that they had structures at the Presidency.
To him, it is a lucky time for him to begin changing the story as individuals are currently becoming acquainted with reality despite the fact that the falsehoods have gone all over.
“I will address an inappropriate impression since I have to do it for my kids and my next ages. The falsehoods are such a large number of yet before my book, it has come out through another book that there are children with sharp teeth who were enrolled, prepared and employed to affront and lie against individuals including the author of the gathering. They should be embarrassed about themselves at this point.
