Did you know you could tell IDM to download your stuff for you at a particular time and stop at a particular time. If you didn’t like I did and wasted sleep time just waiting for the clock to hit 12:00 am, then you came to the right place!!!

IDM has the functionality to start and stop a download at a particular point in time based on what you, YES I MEAN YOU, tell it to. Follow along and let’s learn how to

Step 1: Open you IDM file

Step 2: go to “scheduler”

Step 3: Select “new queue” to create a new queue example “queue 2”

Step 4: Click “OK” to continue

Step 5: select the queue you have created and go to the schedule pane, now you should see the options available to you right, choose what you like. I am going with start downloads at 12:00 am and stop at 5:00 am. OK!

Step 6: Go and get your download links and the let the idm download prompt

Step 7: Select “add to download later” and choose the queue you created

Step 8: Go to scheduler in IDM and to select the queue you created

Step 9: Select “Start now” to start downloading
