  1. No witches camps will be allowed under the next NDC government Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has promised to phase out witches camps in the next NDC government. She made this known when she was speaking to inmates of the Gambaga Witches Camp in the North East region. According to the educationist, the existence of witch camps in the country is a dent on the image of the country and will be one of the first things the next NDC government will abolish.
  2. NDC will pay teachers, nurses more The NDC manifesto will contain policies to address the needs of teachers and nurses, this is what Prof.Opoku-Agyemang said while campaigning in the north. She says teachers and nurses will see a drastic increase in their remuneration when the NDC wins power. She says the NDC manifesto will do more for the teaching and nursing professions.
  3. Increase maternity leave from three to four months She says the NDC will increase maternity leave in Ghana from three to four months in their yet to be launched manifesto. According to Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, lactating mothers will be given permission to work half their usual time until their wards are 9-month old.
