The people of Cape Coast have always been breaking laws of the land. Beach sand winning is against the law but people still break it. Someone may ask why, why because, the law enforcement agencies are not hard on them and also the people have made up their minds to break the law for their own interests.
But in this case,is rather the law enforcement agencies that are involved. There is a project ongoing, drianning the Fosu lagoon at Bakaano, Cape Coast. This has made the Metropolitan Assemblies to take advantage of drienning the Fosu lagoon to win the beach sand for sale.
Selling the sand whiles other youths of the town are being arrested for committing the same crime .
They got time to settle for money that is not going to be in the town monetary fund account…and no fund will be raised to bring development in the town.
Why is it that, when common people in the society are committing such a crime they do hide themselves and even they always for a few or little amounts of the resources but those in charge of the town or the law making people always make it clear and also take it in abundance because they think and know that no one is going to asked them why?
