The Ghana Education Service(GES) has given students who portrayed indiscipline acts in the ongoing WASSCE and were dismissed second chance.
This comes after president Akufo-Addo called on the Minister of Education to engage the GES to reconsider their decision and allow the students to complete their exams.
Recall that the GES dismissed 14 final year students for their misconduct and indiscipline acts in the ongoing WASSCE.
The students were dismissed and barred from from writing the exams.
Some of the final year students partaking in the ongoing WASSCE called the President names after they complained that the science paper was difficult.
Another group of students in other schools attacked their invigilators and others vandalized school properties.
After the incident, GES issued a statement dismissing 14 students in connection with the acts of indiscipline and vandalism recorded in some schools in the ongoing West African Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
