UCC continuing student are resuming academic activities.
University of Cape Coast is calling student back to school to complete the semester so that the 2019/2020 academic year will end successfully. The academic activities were halted due the effect of the deadly corona virus. Students migrated to the e-learning systems for lessons. Management has revised the calendar and is ready to receive students in September
The first years are to resume on September 1, 2020. During their 23 days stay, they will undertake the following activities. The first two days will have them report to school to continue the semester. An orientation program will be organized for student to be oriented on the safety protocols that they have to observe throughout their stay. Continuous assessment and tutorials will start from September 4, 2020 through till the September 11, 2020. Revision will follow afterwards for a week. After which they will write their semester’s final examinations. Students will vacate on Saturday, 26th September, 2020
The remaining levels will get back on September 29,2020. Thus, levels 200 and 300. Levels 200 and 300 will also follow the same procedure of activities. Reporting on September 29,2020 and will vacate on Saturday, 24th October, 2020. During their stay they will be engaged in an orientation programme, too. This will be from 30th September, 2020 to 1st October, 2020. Tutorials and continuous assessments will be held a week afterwards. Revision will follow right after. Students will write their exams from Thursday, 15th October to Friday, 21st October, 2020.
