14 Final year students have been dismissed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), following a statement issued by the Ghana Education Service. These students are also barred from writing their remaining papers over various acts of acts violence and riots which they were involved in at their respective exams centers.
Out of the 14 students dismissed, 5 are from Battor SHS. 3 students each from Secondi Collège and Juaben SHS. From Tweneboah Koduah SHS, a female student together with the school prefect has been also dismissed.
GES has asked these students to leave their various campuses with immediate effect. Where assets were damaged, all students in that school are expected to make full payment for the damages. Until they make full payment for the damages, their results are to be withheld.
