Who is a warrior? What is the warrior mindset? What does it take to be a true warrior?? I would say, ‘A warrior is anybody who finds himself or herself in this game called life!’ You don’t need to be in battledress; You don’t need to be in armour; You don’t need to be on the Warfield to be a warrior. Each day we see and everything we find ourselves doing each day in this life is a battle… Wherever you find yourself and whatever situation you find yourself in, is the battlefield. And you are that warrior to fight this battle! (Have you read THE WARRIOR MINDSET yet!!😃 Be sure to do so if haven’t 😉… Before you come continue this!)
It takes so many things to be a true warrior... A warrior you already are, but a true warrior… Your character, Your actions, Your mentality, the things you do; is what makes you one or not. A true warrior does not stay in bed because he thinks or feels it looks impossible! A true warrior does not stay in bed because he feels he’s not in the mood to go face the day – No! You don’t have to be in the mood before you know you have to get out of bed and go do the things you need to do. A true warrior does not stick to his phone on social media, partying and playing games all day when he knows he has exams just the next day morning. A true warrior gets the right thing done at the right time! A true warrior knows there is time for sleep and there is time for battle!! Don’t even think of a nap in the middle of the war… No time for that bro.
A true warrior rises up and continues the journey when it happens he falls on the way. You don’t remain on the ground. You pick yourself up and move on to do the next right thing! A true warrior does not quit because everybody left him. A true warrior does not quit because he made a mistake. A true warrior does not give up on his God-given dreams because he failed so many times… I can’t mention it all, but all you need to know is that, ‘It takes some level of self-denial and stepping out of your comfort zone to be a true warrior.’
It takes self-discipline; It takes commitment; It takes courage; It takes persistence; It takes determination!!
That battle you are fighting, it take self-discipline to win it! And I’m not just talking about being disciplined, I’m talking of being disciplined even when no one is there to ask you to be – this is what I call self-discipline. Learn to control your mind, your desires and your whole being to move the direction it needs to head! If they try to lead you otherwise, bring them under the submission of where they need to be heading… It doesn’t have to be somewhere inside your comfort zone; in most times, the battle is won outside such places.
Speak to God on where He needs you to go, and apply the principles of the Warrior mindset and get that breakthrough you’ve been dreaming of.
