Michael Owusu Addo, also named Sarkodie, the award-winninng Ghana rapper, revealed his upcoming concert on 16 August 2020, a virtual concert.
Via ceek.com is being staged a virtual concert, called “Black Love Sarkodie” and “Friends Virtual Concert.”
Various social media outlets, including Twitter , YouTube, and several others, will run the show.
The festival features an incredible line-up of artists including homegrown hip-life, hip hop, afropop, and dancehall which will thrill fans.
The performers Edem, Shatta Wale, Samini, Kelvynboy and Wendy Shay are amongst the people who were responsible for rocking the stage alongside Sarkodie, with their virtual concerts successful.
Sarkodie’s latest album The Black Love Album is expected to play most of its tracks, including his fourth studio album with 15 titles released in 2019.
The Album included acts including Stonebwoy, Efya, Rudeboy, King Promise, KiDi, Kizz Daniel, Kuami Eugene, Idris Elba, Bisa kdei, Sista Afia and Mr Eazi.
Sarkodie has contributed to a number of not-for-profit-making organizations in the world, and is Chief Executive Officer of Sarkodie Founder, a charitable organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children.
The Sarkodie Foundation has also launched a “Feed the Kids” Project in Tema, offering a total of eight sacks of rice, yogurt and beverages to thousands of children.
He also delivered school bags, bottles of water, hats and other products.
The Yas clothing line, which has accessories for men, women and babies, belongs to Sarkodie.
He received several honours, including the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) for Artist of the Decade for his contributions to the Ghanaian music Industry.
The first winner of the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards was named for his BET Best Foreign Flow performance.
He’s also known as an advocate of the genre and dance of Azonto.
